November 2013 – Greens are very well maintained.  Great staff.  Course in good shape for this time of year.

December 2013 – We played in December and were amazed at the condition of the course.  Much work had been done in the last month with cart paths repaired and many updates to the course.  Look forward to Spring!

April 2014 – The layout of the course has always been good, it just needed some TLC.  It appears it is starting to get it.  The greens were excellent, and the fairways much improved.  The cart paths are still a challenge but for the value I can live with it for now.  Overall a very enjoyable experience!

May 2014- My favorite aspect of this course is how every hole seems isolated from the rest of the golf course.  With a good pace of play, you’ll hardly ever notice that the other golfers are out there.  I love feeling like I have the golf course to myself, and it just seems that way every time I play here.  This is an extremely demanding layout that probably requires some local knowledge, so don’t expect great scores on your first loop.  The only par 3 that doesn’t play from an elevated tee is 220-230 to a giant green surrounded by a mote of sand.  15 is a no option par 5.  If you don’t go for it, then your laying up to the bottom of a ravine with a playable target zone that isn’t much bigger than the green.  Overall, this place has some great holes with great looks.  If they had some serious capital to invest in condition and design improvements, it could be an incredible place to play golf.
